Nezu Museum

根津美術館は、東武鉄道の社長などを務めた実業家・初代根津嘉一郎氏が蒐集した日本の古美術品を保存し、展示するためにつくられた美術館です。展示室の他に広大な庭園もあり、都会のオアシスとも呼べる空間が作られています。ここでは四季の移ろいも感じられ、ゆっくり、落ち着いた気持ちでARTに触れることができるでしょう。

Nezu Museum was established in 1941 based on the diverse collection of Japanese and East Asian arts by the entrepreneur and first president of Tobu Railway, Kaichiro Nezu I. Set on a massive site covering more than 20,000 square meters, museum is surrounded by a Japanese garden and is truly an urban oasis, where visitors can relax and feel the changing seasons as they come in and appreciate art.
