Newly released tea bag “Fuji Tea from Shizuoka”

2023/07/19

The new tea bag “Fuji Tea from Shizuoka” is available in Hotel Ryumeikan Tokyo’s premium rooms.

“Fuji Tea from Shizuoka,” made in Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture, is characterized by its elegant aroma and rich taste, which spreads like pure melting snow at the base of Mt. Fuji.
Most tea farmers sell their own products, offering safe high-quality products that showcase the care of the producers.

This time, we have prepared tea from Yamada Seicha, a tea plantation in Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture, with the magnificent Mt. Fuji serving as a backdrop.
Norihiko Yamada, Yamada Seicha’s tea master, is not only a professional tea producer, but also has a unique sense of style that enlivens the tea industry by dressing up as the mascot “Charao.”
This tea producer puts the safety of tea leaves first, minimizes the use of pesticides, and uses far-infrared rays for heating tea leaves to maximize the aroma and taste.

Hotel Ryumeikan Tokyo hopes to convey the appeal of Japanese tea through “Fuji Tea from Shizuoka” to customers who come from all over the world.
